Nokia 6 (2018) review
Second generation Nokia 6
Our Nokia 6 (2018) review follows on from our original Nokia 6 review. While many things remain the same, the second generation Nokia 6 gets a more powerful processor, biometric security and a new camera mode.
Build Quality
Improved design
The design of the Nokia 6 (2018) sees an improvement with a higher screen to body ratio of 73.2%, compared to 70.7% on the original Nokia 6. This equates to less phone above and below the screen, making the phone 5mm shorter.
The 5.5” Full HD IPS display has a resolution of 1080 x 1960 pixels and this is protected behind durable 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The body shows off improved durability and strength as well, and is made from a solid piece of 6000 Series aluminium.
The manufacturing and shaping process is cut using diamond cutting technology. The body has also gone through a two-colour anodisation process to deliver bolder colours.
