Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite review
Great specs; Great price
In this Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite review, we highlight some great specs and software that we were surprised to find in a phone that isn’t expensive at all. In fact, you can pick up the Mi A2 Lite at prices starting from £179.
Full Screen Display
The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has a big screen at 5.84”. The display’s shape follows the recent trend where displays are longer but thinner, making them far more comfortable to hold. The display has a camera notch at the top and has FHD+ resolution (2,280x 1,080 pixels), which equates to 432 pixels per inch. This resolution is fantastic and right up there with premium-priced phones.
Metal and glass
The front of the phone is made from 2.5D glass and this curves over to meet the premium metal body. There are grills on the bottom of the phone, which look really cool, and these are for the microphone and speaker.

New: Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
There is a quality and high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core 2GHz processor with 3G RAM, running this phone. The processor is particularly good at balancing power consumption with performance.

The next task is to transfer the content over from your old phone. Catering to this is a 32GB memory, which is fantastic for a phone at this price. If you store lots of photos then you can either store them in the Cloud with Google Photos or upgrade the memory by inserting a memory card with a value of up to 256GB.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and more specifically it is Android One. The benefits of Android One includes:

- Software upgrades for a minimum of two years
- A curated series of apps which results in no bloatware and faster phone speeds

Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 user interface adds a few tweaks here and there, while giving the menus and home screens a fresh look.
