Nokia 3.2 review
Two day battery/Google Assistant Button
This Nokia 3.2 review uncovers a smartphone that will be ultra-cheap when it launches in May, at around £105. For this price, you get a darned good phone that offers up two-day battery life and a Google Assistant Button, that makes it quick and easy to launch the assistant, ask questions, and perform tasks such as creating a shopping list.
Big display/small selfie notch
The Nokia 3.2 has a large 6.26” HD+ display with a small notch for the selfie camera. This format of the display was reserved for much more expensive phones, so this will be a real bonus to those who are fans of budget Nokia phones.
Keep up to Date
Fill in the form and be the first to know when the Nokia 3.2 is released.
The HD+ resolution equates to 1,520x 720 pixels (269 pixels per inch). The + denotes that there are more rows of pixels giving the display a longer form (19:9 screen-aspect-ratio).
The front of the phone is made from 2.5D glass and overall there is an 80.5% screen-to-body ration with nice slim bezels, either side of the display. The screen is designed to work in all lighting conditions, both indoors and out.
Glowing power button
The Nokia 3.2 has a catchy little feature built into the power button. When the phone is locked, the power button will glow to alert you of notifications. This is quite a nice design touch that makes the Nokia 3.2 feel a little more special.
You can choose between a Black or Steel colour scheme for this phone, which weighs 181g and has an 8.6mm thick body.
Improved graphics rendering
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM powers this Nokia phone. More notable, is the Adreno 504 graphics processing unit that gives a 50% improvement to graphics rendering. This will benefit anyone who plays games or streams video, with a now much smoother experience.
Phone Set Up
Biometric face unlocking
Face unlocking occurs in under 2-seconds and it works even under low lighting. Security is that bit more secure with the deep-learning algorithms and AI checking for eyes-open.

There will be two models of this phone and the more expensive option, that has a 32GB memory and 3GB RAM, has a fingerprint sensor on the rear face. The standard 16GB model makes do with face unlocking or a PIN code.
The microSD card slot accepts memory cards with a larger value than most other phones, maxing out at 400GB (card not included).
The Nokia 3.2 comes with the Android One version of Android 9 Pie. Android One will be preferred by some because it offers a clutter-free experience with no third-party software slowing it down. Android One also comes with free monthly security updates and software updates that are guaranteed for at least two years.
Google Assistant Button
The Google Assistant Button makes it easier than ever to launch the assistant. Tasks that you can use the assistant for include creating shopping lists and checking sports results. You can also get a Visual Snapshot of your day by double tapping the button. The information showed is based on things that you do on your phone and might, for example, show your meetings or appointments for that day or curated news stories.
Further features on the Nokia 3.2 include:
Walkie-talkie mode – Long press the Google Assistant Button.
Slices and App Actions – Get shortcuts and app integration for faster tasking.
Dashboard and App Timers – Understand your phone usage and be encouraged to take a break.
Wind Down – The display gradually turns to greyscale before the bedtime that you set. This encourages you to put the phone down and greyscale is less stimulating to the brain, helping you get to sleep quicker.
Camera & Video
Five years ago, 13MP cameras were the cutting edge of smartphone photography, and yet here we see the Nokia 3.2 with its own 13MP camera. Camera features include a flash, Panorama, and Pro Mode. You can even adjust the photo resolution to save memory if you wish.

Google Lens is an integral feature and this lets you use the camera to search for products that you see in shop windows, copy text, and scan codes. You can record 1080p Full HD video and snap your portrait on the 5MP selfie camera.
Two day battery
The 4,000mAh battery offers up to two days usage with AI minimising app and power consumption, by learning your usage habits. The phone manages background apps and functions through its Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness tools. You could experience up to 21-days standby or up to 98 hours of music playback.
