Motorola Moto G7 Power review
Max Vision display and big battery
Our Motorola Moto G7 Power review reveals a mobile phone with a wide display and a battery that keeps going and going. The Motorola Moto G7 Power is a cheaper option to the Moto G7 Plus with a few differences, so this is a good option if you are on a budget.
Max Vision display with notch
The Moto G7 Power provides amazing entertainment thanks to its 6.2-inch FHD+ display. This display is especially wide with a 19:9 screen-aspect-ratio and a resolution of 720x 1570.
Keep up to Date
Fill in the form and be the first to know when the Motorola Moto G7 Power is released.
The front of the phone is dominated by the display with a 77.76% screen to body ratio. There is a small central notch for the camera. Both front and back are made from toughened Corning Gorilla Glass, and the body has a smooth 3D contour.
You can choose between Iced Violet, Ceramic Black or Marine Blue. The phone weighs in at 193g and measures 9.3mm thick. This is a little heavier and thicker than other devices in this range, this can be attributed to the huge capacity battery.
Tough for everyday use
The Motorola Moto G7 Power is adorned with a scratch-resistant surface. It also has a water-repellent nano-coating (P2i) on the interior and exterior, making it rain (light), sweat, and splash proof.
There is plenty of power under the hood, thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 1.8GHz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM. This is 50% faster than the previous generation and can handle anything for 3D gaming to video editing.
Phone Set Up
You can choose to unlock the phone with Face Unlock or fingerprint security. If you go down the fingerprint route, then the sensor is located in the ‘M’ logo on the back.
Transfer your content
You get lots of room on the Motorola Moto G7 for your content. The 64GB internal memory will be plenty for most, but there is an up to 512GB memory card slot too.
Android with Moto Experiences
The Moto G7 is an Android 9 Pie smartphone so you get lots of great apps including the handy Google Assistant. Other features include One Button Navigation and the ability to reply to notifications on the notification screen.

Camera & Video
High Res Zoom and 4K video
The Motorola Moto G7 Power doesn’t boast the same dual camera as the higher priced models but there are lots of great photography features so you won't be disappointed.
The 12-megapixel rear camera allows you to capture beautiful shots thanks to the Photo Assistant with AI-powered software to optimise photos and carry out actions. This feature can trigger the shutter only when everyone smiles in a group photo.
High Res Zoom is the best camera feature with software algorithms restoring the clarity of an image that is usually lost through using a digital zoom.

The battery is the big selling point of this phone, hence the name. The Motorola Moto G7 Power has a whopping 5,000mAH power pack on board.
