The ‘Optical’ labeling refers to the backs that are now covered in a lenticular film. This creates an optical effect where different hues are reflected back to the viewer from different angles. All of the fronts are black and this enhances the expansive look of the FullVision Display.

Phone Set Up
The LG G6+ introduces Face Print, which is a more convenient form of facial recognition. In order to unlock the phone, you need simply to raise the phone towards your face. There are no buttons to press, making the experience swifter and more natural.
|The original LG G6 review|
The LG G6+ can be unlocked in less than one second with Face Print. The camera is activated only when the raising motion is sensed, ensuring that there is no unneeded battery drain.
The LG G6+ has twice the internal memory of the original LG G6. At 128GB, the LG G6+ is extremely unlikely to see you needing to make use of the microSD card slot.
B&O PLAY earphones
The new LG G6+ will be supplied with B&O PLAY premium earphones. These earphones have been chosen to take full advantage of the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio on the LG G6+.
Combined, you will be able to enjoy authentic music as the artist intended you to, without tweaks or over enhancements.
Automatic call recording
Automatic call recording features on the LG G6+ and this can be set up for singular contacts, when desired.
Camera & Video
Covered Lens is a warning notification that alerts the photographer, on the screen, if a finger covers the view of the lens. This is an important update as the wide angle lens and its wider field of view can often catch a glimpse of the holders fingers, if care isn’t taken.
