Despite the UK not getting its hands on the Xperia Z4 just yet, Sony has still unveiled another phone which could be destined for your pocket.
The Sony Xperia C4 is the handset we’re talking about, and it’s looking more and more like the perfect selfie smartphone.
There are actually two versions of the new Sony smartphone you can spend your hard earned cash on, but only one difference between then – that being the dual-sim capabilities.
Other than this it’s a pretty hard game of spot the difference between the two to be playing, with all the other specs and design being identical.
We get a sizeable 5.5” 1080p display to play with – equal to the size of the iPhone 6 Plus, whilst a 64-bit MediaTek chipset is also included to keep things running smoothly.
A 1.7GHz octa-core processor also makes a home in the handset, with an upgraded GPU also providing plenty of quality for those interested in getting their games on with the device.
Memory lovers should be pleased with the 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage that comes in tow, whilst a 2600mAh battery also gives the C4 a lengthy period of time before it needs a recharge.
The biggest selling point is without a doubt the two cameras however – with a 13 megapixel rear lens and a 5 megapixel front facer both providing plenty of quality.
On top of this, both cameras also offer a flash, meaning that those obligatory nightclub selfies are no longer shrouded in darkness when you browse through them the next morning.
The Sony Xperia C3 isn’t going to be the most costly handset from the Japanese company, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll be sacrificing performance.
Packing a full connection to the 4G network, you can surf the web at searing pace, whilst also relying on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system to give you all the fancy features you might need.
Sony will be throwing its own Xperia interface on top of the system as well, so you can expect to see several branded bloatware apps also make the cut – make of that what you want.
Coming in three different colours, you can grab the C4 in black, white or a rather dashing green design, with all three set to hit the market in June.
Pricing details are yet to be confirmed; however the C4 is not expected to break the bank at a level similar to flagship devices by any means.
Expected price tags should sit at around £25-£30 per month on contract, however until Sony confirms details we won’t quite be able to put a finger on the price tag just yet.
