MWC is always an exciting event for smartphone fans all over the world, providing us with a collection of new devices for us to play with. Two of those devices, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 are due to arrive this weekend, ahead of the event’s start date which isn’t until Monday.
But if you don’t happen to be in Barcelona, a few days before the MWC, or have yourself an invite to the events, then there’s not much you can do to get a glimpse of the new tech as it arrives, or is there? With both manufacturers likely to livestream their announcements, we know where to go to watch the S7 launch and the G5 launch as well.
Samsung is more than accustomed to offering those not lucky enough to be in Barcelona a chance to see their launches. This year is no different, with even more ways to watch the S7’s announcement, not only through the standard livestream, but also via 360 degree video – for the first time ever.
Samsung announced the news via a press release, claiming that fans will get four places to view the 360 degree video from. You can even download an app to help you out, which is available on both Android and iOS.
If you want to watch via PC, then Samsung will feature the video on its Unpacked website – we’ll do our best to place a video player for it on this page as well, should Samsung allow it to be shared.

LG is less certain to throw a huge online party regarding the G5’s launch, but we could see a livestream event from the company for the launch. LG hasn’t confirmed any of these details yet however, so it seems that it’s going to make us sweat on it until we get confirmation.
A livestream is expected to pop up on YouTube or on LG’s official website at some point, so we’ll be keeping our eye out for you. Of course, we’ll post the video for you to watch should LG share it.
