The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has been revamped especially for kids, and features a bespoke Kid’s Store offering a wealth of educational and fun apps.
The tablet is also designed for parents in mind, with safety modes easy to enact to ensure that parents know what their children are exploring. An additional feature targeted at parents is the time management function, which can lock the tablet once a designated time expires.
Under the hood, the Kid’s Galaxy Tab 3 sports a 7-inch screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, much like a normal Galaxy Tab 3 device.
The most notable difference, however, is the tablet’s appearance. Whilst Tesco is offering its budget Hudl tablet in a variety of colours, Samsung is giving its usual sleek tablet a makeover to appeal to children.
The kid’s tablet will be launched this Friday (8th November) and will be available from major stockists including Toys R Us, Argos, Dixons and Asda.
