The Galaxy Note 8 was confirmed by the Samsung Mobile president J.K. Shin and he also confirmed we would get the first glimpse of this device at the MWC 2013 in February.
Now it seems we get to see it a bit earlier with an image leak on Twitter that has got the rumour mill buzzing. The image shows the Note 8, which is the inbetweener of the Note smartphones and Samsung’s tablet PC's with the specifications put it firmly in the tablet range.
There are no phone functions on the spec sheet so this will be a tablet PC rather than a Phablet like the other Note devices and will include an 8-inch touchscreen, 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. There will be a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel video calling camera on the front.
The device will have 16GB of on board storage as well as a MicroSD card slot for further expansion and it will be compatible with the S-Pen.
That's all we know for now but we don't have too long to wait to get a feel for the new Note 8 as it gets launched next month, so watch this space.
