Next Windows Phone OS due at end of 2013

Next generation Windows Phone OS

The next generation of Windows Phone looks like it will be heading our way in time for Christmas 2013. This rumour has come directly from Microsoft as they recruit for the next launch and hint at the release in the job advertisement.

The recruitment ad is for a "Software Development Engineer in Test - Windows Phone" and at the end of the job listing Microsoft add "This is a great time to join as we’re completing our current release are getting ready for our next release targeting the holiday of this year".
We reported previously that HTC will be launching the first phone with the GDR2 (General Distribution Release 2) version of Windows Phone 8 on their handset codenamed "Tiara" this summer which is when the update should be rolled out too.
There is also talk of another GDR3 update before the big launch of the next generation of Windows Phone but details are still not clear, but whatever comes our way this year the next big changes should be seen in the release of this next generation OS before Christmas.
