New network, Shebang, to offer SIM only deals with no credit check

Shebang offers contracts with no credit check

When we think of a UK mobile phone network provider, names like o2, Orange, 3 and T-Mobile probably pop up in our minds. However, there are various other lesser known networks out there, and one, Shebang, offers a network with a difference.

With over 7,800 existing customers, Shebang is the only network provider to offer mobile phone deals with a guaranteed pass rate for every single customer. Having a negative credit rating can often leave many individuals without a phone contract, so with no credit rating check policy, Shebang can offer a lifeline for those who have suffered financial losses in the past.

Shebang’s 12 month SIM only deals allow customers to acquire a 24 month phone contract once they have successfully made the first three months’ payments on time by direct debit. After this period, Shebang offers its customers different phones on a rolling basis as their contract progresses.

Shebang’s 1 month rolling SIM only deals allow customers to acquire a 24 month phone contract once they have successfully made the first three months’ payments on time by direct debit. After this period, Shebang offers its customers different phones on a rolling basis as their contract progresses.

For example, after the first three months of making payments on time by direct debit, Shebang customers can obtain an entry-level handset such as an LG L3. After 5 months, this can be upgraded to a mid-range model like a Samsung Galaxy Ace or a Sony Xperia J, and once the customer has reached the 6 month mark within their contract, they can acquire any phone of their choice, whether it’s the latest iPhone, or perhaps Samsung’s Galaxy S3.

Furthermore, Shebang contracts can be capped at a particular figure to avoid exceeding the agreed amount of minutes, texts or data allowance set by the contract. The network will therefore contact you when you are £5 away from reaching your agreed limit, and when your capped figure has been met, all outgoing calls are stopped in order to avoid getting a shocking bill at the end of each month, as with many other network providers. Not only does this make Shebang great for people that get carried away when making calls or sending texts, it is also suitable for parents when buying their children their first mobile.

So if you have ever had trouble acquiring a mobile phone contract, Shebang’s no credit rating check and capped spending plans could suit you down to the ground.

Have you ever had problems getting a phone on contract? Do you think Shebang is a good idea? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
