Moto X set for European Launch

Motorola Moto X

Motorola has finally set a European release date for the much anticipate Moto X, after launching the handset in August over in the USA.

One feature staying stateside however is Motorola’s Moto Maker website, which allowed customers to design their phone themselves, allowing for extra customisation options.

The UK and Europe will see the Moto X in stores from February 1st, costing £380 SIM-free or £25/month on contract.

The Moto X features a 4.7” AMOLED display, a 10 megapixel camera, 2GB RAM and will be available in black and white.

Motorola’s latest smartphone has been highly anticipated in Europe and the UK after seeing a fairly successful launch in the US.

Powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which can be updated to 4.4 KitKat, the Moto X offers an attractive design for an affordable price for those looking to pick up a better mobile phone deal compared to other manufacturers.

Whether Motorola will be bringing its Moto Maker website across the pond to the UK is unknown, but it’s likely they will test the water first, and if sales prove high, Motorola may trial the site here.
