The next smartphone off the Motorola conveyor belt has long been expected to be the Moto X+1, and it’s seemingly been confirmed by accident this week.
With Moto G owners complaining about their status bars being too big, a Motorola Executive took to Google+ to show that a fix is on the way through a screenshot, however this screenshot was taken at a 1080p level, a quality not possessed by any Motorola phone right now.
This seemingly confirms that a 1080p Moto handset is either in its final stages of development, or is about to be announced, most likely being the long awaited X+1.

Motorola tweeted their aim of releasing a new Moto X handset for the end of this summer, and this obviously fits well into that time frame, with many Motorola fans now simply waiting for official word.
Whilst we aren’t crazy about the proposed name, we have no idea what specs are set to feature on the upcoming Moto handset, with just the 1080p resolution to go on.
However, it’s pretty safe to assume that the specs should be outweighing those that featured on the original Moto X.
When we get more information on the Moto X successor, we’ll be sure to let you know!
