A teaser video has been released by LG which explicitly hints that we’ll be seeing the LG Optimus G2 at a launch event to be held in New York on August 7th.
The video didn’t reveal any details about the device itself, but other rumours suggest that we will see a 5.2-inch device with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM under the hood.
The teaser video released by LG does feature various pretty shots of New York city, as well as a number of photographers, so, using our Poirot sleuthing skills, we have deduced that the G2’s camera could be a winner.
In fact, leaked images of the device from Endgadget depict the Optimus G2 looking very similar to the Google Nexus 4, also manufactured by LG. Very few details about the upcoming device have surfaced, but with LG eager to promote the G2, it won’t be long until we get to see what all the hype’s about.
