EE has now announced the latest towns and cities to receive 4G service and those getting the superfast service are Amersham, Bolton, Chelmsford, Hemel Hempstead, Southend-on-Sea, Stockport, Sunderland, Sutton Coldfield and Wolverhampton.
With the 4G auction and the imminent rollout of 4G services from their competitors we can expect EE to be very vocal about all the places they cover so we should see a spate of announcements letting us know who else will be getting the service.
There are also a number of locations to be getting the service before March and these include Bradford, Coventry, Rotherham, and Watford and West Bromwich.
The CEO of EE, Olaf Swantee, commented on the network rollout progress: "To be ahead of schedule and covering approximately 45 per cent of the population within just 90 days of the launch is a great achievement for our network team".
So will you be signing up for 4G? If you want to wait to see if prices come down when the competitors join the battle then it could be a sensible move but if 4G is now in your area and you just can't wait then EE is the one and only choice.
