HTC’s miniature variant of the HTC One M8 is making the rounds online this week, after images of the handset were leaked across the web ahead of its release in the coming months.
HTC released the HTC One’s successor, the M8 earlier on this spring, and it is clearly looking to build on the flagship handset’s success with this smaller version.
Specs are still being kept on the down-low so to speak, but the images still reveal some details about the Mini.
The only notable omission is the lack of the second camera lens which had found its way onto the One M8, meaning 3D picture effects are out of the question on the Mini.
The brushed metal styling sticks around though, as does the dual front facing speaker system, whilst the design is pretty much identical to that of its bigger brother.
Grey, silver and gold are the only colours we’ve seen so far, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see HTC improve this selection after the handset's release, with blue and red versions both plausible.

One leak has suggested that an accent colour could be included with the Mini, after a picture was reportedly snapped in public, possibly of a development model.
The HTC One Mini 2 is expected to boast a 4.5” display, 13 megapixel camera as well as a 1.4GHz quad-core processor.
When we get more details on the upcoming handset, we’ll be sure to let you know though, so keep your eyes and ears peeled.
