The new Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 are now available to pre-order in the UK, following their exclusive launch in China.
Samsung has announced the sim-free prices for their latest smartphones, as well as what we can expect from the new models compared to last year’s.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 is the smallest of the three with a 4.7-inch screen complete with 720p quality.
It was upgraded to a 13-megapixel camera (the front camera, unfortunately for all selfie-takers, stays at 5 megapixels) and comes equipped with Android Lollipop.
16GB of memory, which you can expand with the help of a micro SD card, is included, along with 1.5GB RAM, all for a reasonable £269.
Next is the Galaxy A5, which sports a larger 5.2-inch screen and full HD 1080p resolution, which makes it perfect for video favouring users.
The cameras and storage are the same as on the A3 (in fact, all three phones come with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras). Something to be excited about, which doesn’t feature on the A3 is the fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy A5 comes with a sim-free price of £319, making it more than affordable compared to other fingerprint capable devices.
With Rumours of Samsung Galaxy S7 deals availabe in Feb / March 2016 is there anything higher in the A series?
The A7 boasts all the same qualities as the A5 and is the largest in the series, coming in at 5.5 inches. It is available to pre-order for £399.
Once again, compared to many other phablets, this is an absolute steal – especially with Samsung’s storied smartphone history, general reliability and performance.
Looks-wise, nothing too exciting has happened: the design is fairly similar to other Samsung lines like the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy S6 - with sleek glass and metal in black, silver and white.
No official release dates have been announced yet, but Recombu has revealed customers can expect to receive the handsets in February.
