Huawei Ascend Phones

Choose from the latest models in the Huawei Ascend range

Huawei has a growing selection of smartphones to choose from, with handsets varying in size, speed and power to meet any consumer’s needs!

Can I get a cheap smartphone with a more medium to top end spec?

With smartphones varying massively in price, some costing less than just £5 a month, Huawei can adapt to meet almost any budget. The Ascend Y330 is Huawei’s budget handset, coming with an unbelievably low cost whilst still packing numerous smartphone features and a tidy design.

Of course if you’re after something a bit pricier, the Ascend P7 could be ideal with its flagship style spec list and flashy design.

Whilst none of Huawei’s smartphones can be seen rocking a price tag similar to that of the latest iPhone or Samsung handsets, Huawei still has flagship handsets out there.

The Ascend P7 is a great option with its 5” display, 2GB RAM and quad-core processor and costs the fraction of some flagship phones from bigger companies.

If you fancy making a saving on that handset, you could always go for the slightly older P6, which rocks a more modest spec list but can still tackle the big boys on paper.

Does the Ascend range have a large screen smartphone?

Fancy something with a bigger display? Why not give the Huawei Ascend Mate a go then? With a 6.1” display, you certainly won’t be struggling for size on the Huawei phablet! Plus, with 2GB RAM and a quad-core processor keeping things running behind the scenes, you won’t be running too far behind some of the best phablets on the market either. Of course, Huawei is always working on future handsets, so you’re better off keeping your eyes and ears open for some of Huawei’s latest releases, there could be something new that works perfectly for you!

Previous models and information on the Huawei Ascend mobile phone range.

One of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers on the market today, Huawei quickly made a name for itself by releasing multiple smartphones for unbelievably low prices. It kicked all of this off with the original Huawei Ascend phone in 2010, which wasn’t released in Europe until 2012.

Sporting just a 3.5” display and a 3.2 megapixel camera, the Huawei Ascend worked with Android 2.1, and has since stuck mostly with the Google operating system. The Ascend did well enough to earn an EU release, and thanks to its low price and solid design, did surprisingly well for a debutant phone.

Since then, Huawei hasn’t looked back, producing almost 50 smartphones since 2010, all of course with varying degrees of success. The likes of the Huawei Ascend P7, Mate, and Y330 have all been notable releases of late, again proving successful thanks to their budget prices and decent specs, whilst looking sleek and cool.

Huawei has also been heavily invested in other devices like USB and wireless modems, but the item it’s most recognised for in the west is its smartphones. Whilst it’s often looked down upon by many flagship phone users, Huawei has a heavy following in the budget market, and has been applauded for its reliability. Available in both a contract and pay as you go capacity, plenty of Huawei handset deals can be found here on It doesn’t matter if you’re after a larger screened handset to watch all of your films on, or a smaller more compact model for handling calls, you’ll find just what you’re looking for with Huawei.
