The Sony Ericsson C902 is a smartphone with a high-specification in every department plus with a fantastic 5 mega pixel camera it is regarded as one of the best camera phones around. It is slim and comfortable to hold (108 x 49 x 10.5 mm, weighing 107g), with a 2-inch, TFT, 245,000 -colour display with a 240 x 320 resolution.

Sony Ericsson's Cyber shot series is known for its great camera phones and the C902 really pulls out all the stops with a 5 megapixel camera (maximum 2592 х 1944 pixels picture resolution)with a slide-out lens cover, autofocus, face detection technology, image stabiliser, video (QVGA @ 30 fps) and flash. There is a secondary videocall camera for its 3G capabilities. There are eight illuminated camera touch keys to make selection of functions and keys easier.

Messaging features include all the major formats (SMS, MMS, email - including push email - and instant messaging. The C902 also has an FM radio, TrackID music recognition, Java MIDP 2.0, organizer, picture editor/blogging, player for MP3 and MPEG, as well as a built-in handsfree.

Connectivity options include EDGE for fast Web links and (short range) wireless Bluetooth. The internal memory size is a massive 160 MB and you can insert a memory stick Micro™ (M2) for added storage capacity.

The C902 has a unique feature called BestPic™ which allows user to take 9 consecutive images on one click within one second; you can choose the best one from the nine. It also offers a picture blogging facility with 3G HSDPA technolog - you can directly upload your picture to your blog and share with your friends. Another piece of unique software is called x-Pict story™, enabling you to add music to your photos for slide shows.
