The Samsung E250 is a compact and thin (99 x 50 x 14 mm, weighing only 80g) slider phone targeting the mid-range phone market with aplomb. Samsung has built in many high-quality features within a decent budget and good all round tactile and stylish finish.
You can view the large screen (2 inch 128 x 160 pixel resolution) whether the handset is slid open or closed. The handset, with its lilac hue, has bevelled edges with a tactile coating so it feels good to hold and operate. It offers 10 MB internal memory with an expandable memory facility by adding a MicroSD™ memory card.
The E250 comes with a black user interface - stylish way for you to view the menus, as the bright colours show up beautifully against the black background. It includes a VGA camera, with camcorder video capabilities (up to one hour of video with sound at 15 frames per second). The camera comes with a CMOS sensor for high-quality imaging and clear photo capture. It includes a 4 x digital zoom for close up shots.
The phone has an uMenu feature, enabling you to create a unique menu for all frequently-used features. The uTrack feature is ideal if the handset is lost or stolen as it automatically sends an SMS message to a pre-designated number to alert you that the SIM card has be changed or replaced.
It is a tri-band network phone, while internet access is via the built in WAP browser. EDGE technology provides high speed data transmissions for fast downloads and data transfers. You can use Bluetooth® technology for wirefree connection between the Samsung E250 & other Bluetooth® devices including the users laptop, printer, PDA & headset.
As well as FM radio, you can listen to music downloads on the integrated music player,which supports MP3, AAC and AAC+ music formats. It supports both polyphonic and MP3 ring tones to select and change at will.
Battery life is rated at 250 hours of standby time and five hours of talk time.
