The Storm 2 is an upgrade from last year's Storm (BlackBerry's first touchscreen), with many of it's issues address, producing a much smoother running handset with improved touchscreen. Measuring 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm it is exactly the same size as the original storm with an extra 5g added to the weight. The touchscreen QWERTY keyboard allows users to simultaneously double-touch the screen for super fast typing which feels like a true typing experience with both audible and physical clicking. The Storm 2 has also caught up on the connectivity front with WiFi and the internal memory has been increased to 2GB. Being a BlackBerry the Storm 2 is expected to be an excellent business phone with push email, calendar and contact that are compatible with Microsoft Exchange, Novell Group Wise and Lotus Domino. Google Apps will also work on the Storm 2 which gives users access to their Gmail accounts. To keep up with the demanding mobile user, the Storm 2 has the ability to play a number of music and video files with a handy 3.5mm audio jack, a 3.15 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, image stabilizer and geo-tagging as well as apps for Twitter and Facebook as standard. The 3G device also supports GPS and Bluetooth. The Storm 2 is now a great device for BlackBerry fanatics that want to enter the world of touchscreen.
