The Apple iPhone 6s has a frame made from aviation grade aluminium and a display that is protected by toughened glass, on a molecular level. The 4.7 inch Retina display has a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and this senses finger pressure at varying degrees. 3D Touch uses this information to either show a preview of content, maps and websites from a light press or to open content when firmer pressure is applied.
The A9 64-bit chip is up to 70% faster and is so efficient that Siri can listen for commands at all times without draining the battery. The fingerprint sensor has been improved for better accuracy and a new 6 digit passcode makes the iPhone more secure than before.
The 12MP iSight camera can capture video at 4x the resolution of 1080p (4K) and this can be edited and shared on YouTube from the iMovie app. The 5MP FaceTime HD camera senses the levels of light and the screen is then used as a flash to capture perfect skin tones when selfies are taken.
