The LG G4C is an affordable smartphone with a powerful 1W speaker that produces deep lows and clear highs without the need for additional speakers. The speaker is rear mounted, which some consumers may disapprove of, but there probably isn’t a rival to it at the cheaper end of the market.
The LG G4C has an ample 5” display and good quality 8MP/5MP cameras, along with the Android Lollipop operating system.
The Sony Xperia C4 is the more budget-friendly Sony music phone, with the premium music phones covered later on in this list.
A trio of Sony Clear Audio+ technologies including Clear Stereo, Clear Bass and Clear Phase, all help to ensure tracks are distortion free with perfect balance and clarity.
If high-volume is the goal then xLOUD technology enables the production of sounds at up to 97db. The Sony Xperia C4 has a 5.5” display and 13MP/5MP cameras.
The HTC One A9 delivers high-resolution audio with a built-in DAC converter that up-scales audio from 16-bit to 24-bit high-resolution.
Dolby Audio Surround further improves performance and even the component placing on the circuit board has been considered, to reduce sound interference and distortion.
A built-in headset amp, for use with HTC Pro Studio earphones (sold separately), generates sound quality that is like it is as though it were experienced live in the recording studio. A 5” edge-to-edge display is paired with a 13MP camera and UltraPixel low-light selfie camera.
The Sony Xperia Z5 range includes the standard 5.2”, Compact 4.6” and Premium 5.5” models. These all have Hi-Res Audio, which encodes audio with higher sampling rates than CD quality and restores compressed music files to a better -than-original quality.
S-Force Front Surround pushes the audio towards you and Clear Audio+ optimises and balances frequencies, for perfect stereo output. Auto Headset Compensation uses Digital Noise Cancelling to remove 98% of the exterior noise, for the ultimate private listening experience.
The Sony Xperia Z5 range is also unique in offering the same, extremely high-quality, 23MP/5MP camera set up.
